Effective 22 September 2026
Rune Clock has no accounts, no advertising and no third-party SDKs, and it does not track you. The only thing it sends is anonymous usage analytics to the developer's own server, so I can see which screens are used and where the subscription screen loses people. Nothing in it identifies you or your device.
From version 1.0.1 the app sends a small number of anonymous events: that the app was opened, brought to the foreground or sent to the background, which screen it opened on, that the subscription screen was shown, that Subscribe was tapped and whether the purchase succeeded, was cancelled, is pending or failed, and whether Restore Purchases found an active subscription. Each event carries the app version, the platform and whether the build is an App Store, TestFlight or development build.
Events are grouped by a random session id that is created each time the app launches and is never stored on your device, so one session cannot be linked to the next or to you. The app does not collect your name, email, Apple Account, advertising identifier (IDFA), vendor identifier (IDFV) or location, and it does not read your games or anything about your play.
The events go to yourtechresume.com, a server run by the same developer, Serdar Oztetik. It is not a third party, and the data is not sold, shared or used for advertising or tracking across apps or websites. The server sees your IP address to receive the request and to derive a country; the IP address itself is not stored. Events are deleted after 45 days.
The app keeps your settings on the device: the game clock you last set, which objectives you have switched on, any spawn timings you have edited, and your alert preferences. These live in the app's own storage on your iPhone and are removed when you delete the app.
Rune Clock does not connect to Dota 2, to Steam, or to any game service. It does not read your match, your account, or anything about your play. It is a timer you set by hand.
The app collects no personal data from anyone, of any age. The anonymous usage events above are the same for everyone.
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
